    Aries and Pisces Compatibility

In an Aries/Pisces relationship, communication and compromise are the key elements needed for success. Aries must be willing to filter their outgoing communication style, and Pisces must be willing to speak up and not hold on to hurt feelings. Aries will also have to be willing to show commitment to the relationship, and Pisces may have to overlook Aries sometimes brusque nature. It will take work, but if both parties are willing, this relationship can bring about positive results for both signs.

    The Good Side

If you believe in the maxim "Opposites attract", you'll easily see why a relationship between an Aries and a Pisces is often inevitable in some situations. Outgoing and passionate Aries often find quick partners in the shy and easygoing Pisces. Both signs recognize something in the other that's missing from their own lives – Aries envies Pisces philosophical nature, while Pisces looks up to bold, daring Aries. However, for Aries who is often direct and upfront about their feelings and needs, it can be difficult to stop and think before speaking, which may hurt or offend Pisces.

For Pisces – an insistent giver and nurturer – Aries outgoing nature can be a positive trait. Their personalities allow Pisces to feel needed, without preventing them from being able to freely to speak their minds. Pisces also tends to be more shy and afraid to try new things, and with Aires love for new experiences, Pisces may be willing to try things they were never capable of without their partner's encouragement and support.

These two signs also work well in the bedroom. Aries tends to be passionate and exciting, while Pisces brings sensitivity and sensuality to the relationship. This pair works especially well when both partners are able to recognize their differing natures and respect each other's needs in the bedroom.

    The Bad Side

The largest concern when an Aries and a Pisces connect is the opportunity for emotional damage. Aries will often speak their minds without concern for their sensitive Pisces partners. As Pisces tends to be quiet and shy, they often bottle up hurt feeling for long periods before letting their partner know how they feel. This can lead to fewer fights in the beginning, but can cause a brewing emotional tidal wave that will come crashing in soon.

In addition, Aries quick criticism can often leave Pisces with feeling inadequate. Aries, on the other hand, will sometimes look down on their more introspective partners, find them lacking in the outgoing traits they appreciate in their own lives. Finally, with Pisces reluctance to make decisions without first thinking them through, Aries may become frustrated if they feel they're missing the many spontaneous opportunities they would like to enjoy.

Another issue that often comes up in an Aries and Pisces relationship is Pisces need for long term commitment and Aries need for constant need of stimulating new relationships. Pisces are known to be a stable group of people who do not enjoy constant change, while Aries often seek the constant excitement from the beginnings of a new relationship. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that a Aries/Pisces match is doomed to failure – just that it's important for these zodiac partners to find a way to respect each other's differences in order for their relationship to thrive.
