    Aries and Taurus Compatibility

Traditionally, Aries is very impulsive, while Taurus wants to think about everything. Taurus is strong and dependable, while Aries is somewhat flighty and wants something different everyday day. Taurus is an Earth sign and as such is dependable and logical. They often can be considered greedy, but will continually work towards the end result. Aries as a Fire sign is very enthusiastic and spontaneous. Often selfish and bossy, Aries can also be creative and have a great zest for life.

    The Good Side

While Taurus would like to contemplate and think about each decision, Aries would rather plow full steam ahead. Taurus is often able to slow Aries down long enough to see the outcome possible ahead and prevent some of the possible pitfalls a certain course of action might bring. Aries, on the other hand, can show Taurus how much fun life can be – even if you don't plan out every minute of the day. Aries is often able to draw Taurus into their web of spontaneity and bring a great deal of enthusiasm to everyday mundane events.

Taurus enjoys the finer things in life and will appreciate a good meal and a great wine. Providing a solid foundation for the relationship, Taurus will teach Aries how to stop and enjoy their favorite things. Aries, however, can teach Taurus how to pack up the good meal and bottle of wine, and head for the beach to enjoy it in the sand.

Both signs can be sexual, with Taurus wanting to plan for the occasion. Aries will show how much fun spontaneity can be, whether it's at home or in the local dressing room. Aries rarely wants a lot of foreplay, but prefers instead to get to the matters at hand. Taurus prefers to take their time, focusing on the path to the final goal. This is often a great combination, as long as both parties are willing to accept that excitement will have to be an integral part of the relationship.

    The Bad Side

Aries spontaneity is often a source of great exasperation to Taurus. Both can be quite stubborn, and Aries often comes off as too forceful or bossy. Taurus can easily infuriate Aries, since planning is everything. Not one to run off on a whim, Aries can feel Taurus will not take enough risks in life. Not one for staying at home too long, Aries can become bored quickly by Taurus's more staid ways. Aries is often very flirtatious and individualistic, while Taureans are known for their jealousy and possessiveness. This can often cause problems within the relationship as both parties struggle for control.

Aries tends to be most concerned with the right now, and often will act impulsively. Taurus is uncomfortable with making quick, impetuous decisions, causing Aries to feel like Taurus is a stick in the mud. Taurus will need to be open to just going with the flow in some cases, without having to plan each step along the way, while Aries will have to slow down long enough to smell the roses once in awhile to make the relationship work.

Aries can often feel Taurus is takes too long in bed and will often try to force Taurus to move more quickly. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy, as Taurus may feel as though they are not doing enough to please their partner.
